Step 1
A double elastic band "shrinks" much more than a simple one ("single"). To begin with, we collect the required number of loops on the knitting needles. But it is important to remember that for the correct knitting of a double elastic band, you need to dial an even number of loops. And this is taking into account both edge loops.
Step 2
Next, we knit the first row according to the scheme: 2 front loops, then 2 purl. And so on until the end of the row.
Step 3
We turn the product over. And we continue in the same way: 2 facial, 2 purl. Already on the 4th or 5th row you will see the resulting double elastic band.
Step 4
In this way, knit as many rows as you require according to the description. Then you act according to the scheme and change the drawing. But the sleeves or the bottom of your future dress or sweatshirt are already ready.
