Making a poster, painting, photograph or embroidery in a beautiful frame with your own hands is quite simple. To do this, it is absolutely not necessary to go to a framing workshop.

Step 1
Recently, the popularity of decorating interiors with paintings or posters has gained momentum again. Almost every owner of a living space wants to hang in a prominent place his favorite photographs or embroidery, created with his own hand. But the prices for the design of these decorative elements in the baguette workshops are quite high, so not everyone can afford them.
Step 2
Not everyone knows that it is not at all difficult to arrange a picture, poster, photograph or even embroidery in a ready-made frame on your own. In any baguette workshop, there are probably ready-made frames, and most often they are made not of an expensive wooden baguette, but of plastic, which looks very much like wood. Such frames are much cheaper, and they can be sold either with glass and a backdrop, or separately. If you have a ready-made frame, glass for it can be ordered additionally, and the backdrop can be cut out of cardboard yourself.
Step 3
To frame a picture or photograph, you will need double-sided tape, small carnations, cardboard, a pencil, and a sharp stationery knife. If you are designing a poster or a photograph, first you need to crop the image along the contour, leaving small margins (they will be hidden by the frame). For a thin baguette, the edges, as a rule, are 1 cm. They are necessary in order for the image to be fully viewed after decoration.
Step 4
Next, cut the cardboard to fit the poster or photo. Take double-sided tape, cut it into pieces and stick it on the cardboard surface, then carefully begin to glue the poster to the cardboard, while carefully smoothing it. Otherwise, the general appearance of the product will be disfigured by air bubbles.
After that, put the cardboard in the frame and secure it with small nails (if there are no special petals in the frame).
Step 5
The hardest thing is to embroider in the frame, since the fabric will have to be pulled over the cardboard. Do not forget to wash and iron the finished fabric before decorating. Embroidery is designed in the same way as a poster or photograph, only it does not need to be cropped to fit the frame. The material will need to be firmly "planted" on the cardboard, wrap the edges, slightly pulling them, and secure on the other side.
