Step 1
There are many programs that you can use to create flash cartoons, however the most common and easy-to-use program is Adobe Flash Professional. Let's consider the process of creating a cartoon using her example. Download, install and run the program, then proceed to the next step.
Step 2
Adobe Flash Professional provides a number of tools: pencil, pen, brush, circle, line, and many more. Choose a brush or pencil. Remember that when using a brush, the thickness of the line depends on the area to be painted, and when working with a pencil, the line will be the thickness that you specify in the properties.
Step 3
Draw a simple drawing in the program area. This will be your first shot. Press the F7 button to create a new frame; in case you want the next frame to be a copy of the previous one, press F6.
Step 4
For the smoothest possible movement of the picture, you need to see the previous location of the subject when changing frames, so for the best comfort, adjust an option such as transparency. Use the onions enable button to see the previous and next frames in the work area. You can adjust the number of frames that are visible at the same time using the frames of the slider located on the timeline.
Step 5
Use additional layers to place objects such as backgrounds, foreground and background, and sound in your cartoon. To create a new layer, use the appropriate button, namely "Create a new layer".
Step 6
You can preview the cartoon while creating and editing it. To do this, press the Enter button. Pressing this button again will stop the cartoon. The time of the cartoon is displayed on the corresponding scale.
Step 7
After you finish working on the cartoon, you will need to save it in swf format. To do this, click on the "File" button, then go to the "Export" items, and then "Save". Enter the title of the video, and then save the file on your computer.
