A letter or a postcard in an original envelope will certainly arouse great interest in the addressee. The front "triangle" with a letter to the veteran, an elegant envelope with congratulations to your beloved girl, a cheerful envelope with an invitation card to the theater for the kid will create the appropriate mood and make you want to quickly get to what is inside.
It is necessary
- The envelope
- Colored paper
- Curly scissors or photo cutter
- Glue
- Brush
- Oilcloth
- Napkin
Instructions
Step 1
The original envelope can be made by hand. Draw a rectangle on the paper that is slightly larger than the letter or postcard. Draw perpendiculars from the corners of one of the long sides. Set aside segments equal to the height of the envelope on them and draw a second rectangle. Draw a free-form triangle from the second side of the original rectangle, one side of which is also the side of the rectangle. On the sides of the rectangle that will be the face of the envelope, make stripes for the folds. Cut the corners of the strips. Glue the envelope.
Step 2
Choose a decor option. It must correspond to both the content of the letter and the nature of the addressee. The love letter can be enclosed in an envelope decorated with flowers and hearts. For writing with a ticket to the theater, balloons, masks, clown figures are suitable. You can also use folk ornament.
Step 3
Place the decor on the front of the envelope. Arrange the composition so that the details of the pattern or subject picture are in harmony with each other.
Step 4
Stick on the pattern and let the envelope dry.
Step 5
Make the pattern on the back more modest. You can just take a few elements, arrange the corners and the edge of the valve.
Step 6
Cut the valve with curly scissors or a photo cutter.
