Many children happily wrap themselves in a warm blanket so as not to freeze at night. But during a sound night's sleep, the blanket gradually knocks to one side, or even slides down to the floor. The kid is freezing. In such cases, as well as for children who categorically do not recognize blankets, pajamas are ideal.
It is necessary
Paper, pencil, measuring tape, baby's ready-made jacket and trousers as a sample, scissors, pins, fabric, thread, needle, elastic band, braid
Instructions
Step 1
Take measurements of the child, measure his height. Draw a pattern on paper. You can greatly simplify the process by using sweatpants and a child's T-shirt as a stencil, which are well suited for his height and width. To do this, fold the thing in half, attach it to a sheet of paper and circle it, not forgetting to allow a few centimeters on each side for the seams.
Step 2
Take a piece of fabric and fold it in four. Attach a paper pattern to the long fold of the fabric, securing it with pins. Trace the paper pattern and cut the fabric to fit the pattern.
Step 3
Sew the four cut-out strips of fabric in pairs to create two legs. Sew them together to make panties. Sew an elastic into the waistband of your trousers, tuck the bottom and sew. Treat the inner sections of the fabric to prevent them from unraveling after washing.
Step 4
Take a long sleeve t-shirt that your child is wearing. In the same way as the pattern for the pants was made, make the pattern for the top of the pajamas. Take a piece of fabric and fold it in half. Circle the pattern, cut it along the contour. Sew the two halves of the jacket together. Tie the neckline and cuts of the sleeves with braid.
