Yuri Georgievich Bogatyrev is a Soviet theater and film actor. People's Artist of the RSFSR. The idol of millions of fans was at the peak of its popularity when on February 1, 1989, he suddenly died from cardiac arrest associated with a medical error. An ambulance team called due to a heart attack injected the patient with clonidine, which is incompatible with previously taken antidepressants. After the death of the people's favorite, a large amount of money and paintings, painted by him with his own hand, disappeared from his apartment. Fans are interested in information about the actor's personal drama, which is associated with his sexual orientation, and his financial situation during his lifetime.
An extraordinary ability to perceive the external world and reincarnation was fully expressed in the creative activity of Yuri Bogatyrev. A talented actor, in addition to his direct profession, is known both as an interesting literary prose writer and as a portrait painter. And in the art of acting, he perfectly entered the comedic and dramatic images of his characters.
In 1988 he was awarded the title of People's Artist of the RSFSR. And only after this event he became the proud owner of a "odnushka" on Gilyarovskiy street. Not all fans of this unusually gifted actor today fully understand the gravity and tragedy of his professional and personal life. After all, Yuri Bogatyrev had a lot of ill-wishers and envious people who could not come to terms with his high popularity and even "unencumbered loneliness." It is noteworthy that at one time he was considered one of the richest actors in the country.
short biography
On March 2, 1947, the future idol of millions of fans was born in the family of a naval sailor and a housewife in Riga. After a while, the parents moved with their son to Leningrad, and from there to Moscow. From childhood, Yura was distinguished from his peers by tenderness and grace, as well as friendship with girls, which is why he was called a "girl". And during his school years, he was regularly engaged in amateur performances and took an active part in theatrical performances.
A capable boy independently made dolls and a curtain, was engaged in the distribution of roles between girlfriends. He also drew constantly. It was this vocation that the young painter decided to realize in the first place, having entered an art school after the 8th grade of high school. And on one of the trips to practice forest sketches with his group, he met novice actors from the Globus theater studio. This was the reason for his subsequent admission to the legendary "Pike".
After graduating from a theater university, Bogatyrev joined the Sovremennik troupe, where he appeared on the same stage with his peers Raikin and Fokin. In the team, Yuri was received very warmly and cordially, immediately recognizing in him a talented actor who was characterized by a special irony, which was considered a rare acting talent.
And in 1970, the young artist made his debut in cinema with a secondary role in Nikita Mikhalkov's film "A Quiet Day at the End of the War." And Yuri Bogatyrev became truly popular after the release of the sensational film "One among strangers, a stranger among friends" (1974), where he talentedly reincarnated as a Red Army soldier Shilov.
Personal life
An amazing creative career is the complete opposite of the realization of Yuri Bogatyrev in the romantic aspect of life. Colleagues on the theatrical stage and on film sets noted his special amorousness and ardor of character. His heart began to vigorously beat out the melody of love at the sight of Elena Solovey, Olga Yakovleva, Anastasia Vertinskaya and Svetlana Kryuchkova. And he perfectly represented each of them as his wife. And with Iya Savvina they were united not only by a common profession and platonic love, but even by the stars themselves, because they celebrated their birthdays at the same time.
The disorder in his personal life, associated with the physiological characteristics and moral attitudes of the Soviet era, turned into frequent depression for the popular actor. Bogatyrev considered his homosexual inclination, discovered at a rather serious age, to be a real punishment and endured very painfully. This was expressed in frequent binges and stupid acts, which he later greatly regretted.
However, even with all his "strangeness", Yuri married the actress Nadezhda Seraya. But today, many still consider this family union a fiction, which Bogatyrev committed, wishing to help his girlfriend, who was in a difficult life situation. The fact is that the future wife, after the scandalous dissolution of marriage with director Mikhail Hussein, according to the existing legal norms, had to leave the hostel and the capital. And only the marriage of a woman with a Muscovite could save her plight.
Not wanting to advertise this "unusual" marriage, the newlyweds did not even inform their closest people. Moreover, they gave such mystery to the events at the insistence of Nadezhda. And due to housing problems, the couple did not come together until the end of their husband's life. By the way, after a while their feelings cooled down, and in practice the relationship ended altogether. And when Yuri's mother, after his death, saw the corresponding stamp in the passport, Seraya herself explained this circumstance by the purely business side of their relationship.
Death of Yuri Bogatyrev
In the last years of his life, the popular artist focused especially on work. He often went on stage and set, drew a lot. And at the very beginning of 1989, Yuri Bogatyrev began to prepare his debut exhibition of personal art paintings, which was to begin on February 6 at the Bakhrushin Museum. By a fatal coincidence, it was on this day that the capital said goodbye to its beloved actor.
Subsequently, an exhibition of artwork did take place. Only this happened not in Moscow, but in Leningrad. And currently it is taking place in Samara. By the way, Bogatyrev was planned for the role of General Radov in "The Barber of Siberia", but fateful fate directed everything in its own way.
And the tragic event itself happened due to the "washing" in a friendly company of a very large fee for participation in the film "Black Eyes". And when in the evening he felt bad because of a heart attack, the ambulance team, headed for some reason not by a doctor, but by a paramedic, injected him with a drug that was unacceptable in his case. As a result of cardiac arrest at the age of 41, the most talented man of his time passed away.
And after the tragedy, a large amount of money disappeared from the apartment of the people's favorite, which he received as a fee, which became the reason for this fatal celebration. Moreover, along with the bills, Bogatyrev's paintings disappeared, the fate of which is still unknown. Thus, his artistic heritage now constitutes only a small part of the total volume of his work, which remained in the Bakhrushin Museum and private collections of his friends.
