How to make a wall clock from plastic forks and spoons

It is necessary

  • - disposable spoons - 6 pcs;
  • - disposable forks - 6 pcs;
  • - CD box;
  • - clockwork and hands;
  • - black acrylic paint;
  • - sponge;
  • - acrylic varnish;
  • - drill;
  • - scissors;
  • - hot glue.

Instructions

Step 1

So, first paint the plastic spoons and forks with black acrylic paint. To do this, we spread newspapers, take a sponge, put a little paint on it, after which we begin to paint the details with it not like a brush, but with patting movements. Do this with each spoon and fork on both sides.

Step 2

Next, we make the basis for the wall clock. We take the box from under the CD and carefully tear off the back side from it. Then, using sharp scissors, cut out a circle from the resulting part, equal to the dimensions of the disk. We paint this circle to match the forks and spoons, that is, black.

Step 3

We mark places for each spoon and fork. This will make it easier to glue them evenly. After this is done, we proceed, respectively, to the pasting itself. We do this from the inside of our circle.

Step 4

We take a drill and use it to drill a hole in the middle of the plastic circle. Then we insert the clock hands into the resulting hole and fix them from the inside. After the performed actions, we attach a box with a clockwork to the same side.
