With all the variety of goods in stores, sometimes you want to do something with your own hands, since hand-made things compare favorably with consumer goods. Wall clocks are made very simply, the main thing is that you keep the mechanism.
Hoop clock
Take the old clockwork, carefully remove the hands and nuts that hold them together. At this point, it is important to remember the sequence of their assembly and the principles of connection. Choose a suitable thick fabric to match the color scheme of the interior. Hoop it, cut off the excess hanging edges. In the places where the numbers should be, sew buttons of suitable size and contrasting fabrics in color.
From cardboard or wood, cut / saw a circle that matches the diameter of the dial on the hoop. A small hole is made in the middle of the dial, on the reverse side of which the clock mechanism is attached to a tree or thick cardboard so that the very fastening of the hands is in the center of the dial.
The resulting original wall clock can also be hung on a beautiful satin ribbon, after fixing it on the dial and making a loop. It remains only to attach the arrows.

You can make a wall clock in another way. Wrap the clipping of a magazine or newspaper page tightly and tightly around a pencil or pen. It is necessary to make 12 such tubes. To prevent the ends of these "rolls" from unwinding, they need to be sealed with transparent tape. On each tube, mark a third of the length and bend in this place in half.
With a long needle with silk threads, you need to sew the bent ends of the sticks, placing them in a circle at the place of each hour. The sewing field of each tube must be tied with a knot at the end of the thread. Place the clear plastic cover from the CD case on top of the sticks so that the hole in the middle fits into the center of the circle.
Now you need to put the clockwork down, the place where the hands are attached should match the hole. A second plastic disc is attached to the back of the watch and covered with cardboard, the clock mechanism and hands are screwed in with nuts.
Clock with a beautiful picture
There is another option for homemade wall clocks. Take a nice picture for your future watch face. If you have not found a drawing at home, the image can be printed, but preferably with a laser printer so that the ink does not leak. A canvas or cardboard for the size of the dial should be smeared with glue, and the image should be slightly moistened with water. The wet picture is neatly glued to the cardboard, now it needs to dry out.
As hands, plastic sticks or tubes suitable for the style of the future watch are selected. A hole is made in the middle of the dial, inside of which the clock mechanism is fastened with nuts. A hole is also made in the arrows for fastening. The nuts can be painted with a marker to match the color of the watch or with a contrasting shade.
