Origami translated from Japanese means "folded paper". This term denotes the art of creating animal figurines and objects from paper. This is a very ancient and very popular art now. Most often, using the origami technique, figures of animals and birds are created. The most popular origami figurine is the well-known Japanese crane. And today let's try to make another bird with our own hands, no less beautiful, and even mobile.

Instructions
Step 1
To work, you need a sheet of origami paper. If you do not have special origami paper, then make an even square from a regular A4 sheet. Just choose paper that is not too thick, it will be difficult to fold. Even with a regular office printer, problems can arise.
Step 2
Origami has a few basic shapes that most figurines start with. So to get started fold a basic shape called a kite. To do this, place the paper square with a rhombus. Then bend this rhombus in the middle, and to this middle lower the upper sides from the top of the upper corner. The basic form is ready.
Step 3
Bend the workpiece in half, turn it over to the other side.
Step 4
Lower the upper sides to the fold line in the middle. Turn the workpiece over again.
Step 5
Now bend the left sides to the fold line.
Step 6
Bend the right sides similarly to the fold line. Flip the workpiece over to the other side.
Step 7
This step is difficult enough if you don't have skill in figurine addition. Along the marked line, gently bend the middle part, while pulling the corner to the left corner. Turn the figurine over again.
Step 8
Now bend the corner, turning outward. Thus, you will form the head of your future bird. Do this carefully so that the bird does not lose its beautiful appearance.
Step 9
Your bird is ready. If you gently pull on its wings, it will move.
