Azalea is one of the flowering plant species, belongs to the family of shrubs of the genus Rhododendron. An amazingly beautiful flower with a delicate and sensual aroma. This is a very capricious plant, therefore, very good care must be provided for growth and flowering.
Instructions
Step 1
Azalea must be kept in acidic soil with a pH of 3, 8-4, 5 units. The soil should be moderately loose and contain coniferous soil, peat and sand.
Step 2
Azalea loves moisture, so the flower must be watered twice a day and sprayed periodically. Once every 3-4 weeks, the flower should be fed with mineral and organic fertilizers, and during the flowering of the azalea, watering with a superphosphate solution is required.
Step 3
The flower does not tolerate heat and stuffiness, so the most optimal temperature for an azalea is around 12-17 degrees. The flower loves shaded places, does not tolerate direct sunlight, so you should not put the flower on the south side.
Step 4
A flower transplant should be done only in extreme cases, no more than once a year. Azalea pruning can only be done after flowering, carefully removing only heavily overgrown or weak shoots.
