We are used to thinking of a rose as a garden plant. Therefore, roses of the "Cordana mix" variety are highly valued by flower growers, because this miniature plant can be grown at home. Moreover, the rose is unpretentious and does not require special care, while it pleases its owners with flowers of fabulous beauty throughout the summer.

"Cordana Mix" is an artificially bred variety of miniature indoor roses in various colors and sizes. Although this rose is small, it blooms in large flowers, like a hybrid tea rose. This variety is ideal for indoor growing as well as small patios or border landscaping. This plant requires good drainage soil and a minimum of six hours of daylight.

Rose "Cordana mix" blooms with unusually beautiful, bright flowers. However, there is one drawback - the flowers do not smell at all.

Growing at home

The flower needs a bright sunny color, but do not allow the soil to dry out. All roses love moist but not wet soil. If you are going to put the plant on a window, use a planter to keep the roots from drying out.

Watering

The greenhouse soil needs constant drip irrigation, therefore, with improper care and rare watering, the rose can dry out. To moisten the soil, immerse the pot in a container of water for several hours. If the air is too dry, the flower may suffer even with regular watering. To prevent this, you can use crystals that retain moisture. They are sold in florist shops under various names: superabsorbent, hydrogel, moisture-absorbing crystal, etc. You will need less than one teaspoon of these crystals for a 15 cm pot. Make a few indentations in the ground with a pencil and pour a few crystals into each hole.

"Cordana mix" reproduces by stem processes. It is necessary to separate the cuttings in the spring. You can cut a plant both in water and in a substrate.

Pests

Most varieties of roses have good immunity to diseases, but when grown indoors, they can be affected by downy mildew, which manifests itself as a gray powdery coating on the leaves, which subsequently turns yellow. Also "Cordana Mix" is susceptible to aphid and spider mite infestation. To prevent disease, avoid waterlogged soil and excess fertilizer. Use a spray bottle to water the flower, as moisture repels spider mites. If you notice any traces of downy mildew, rinse the leaves and let them dry well. Wash where the flower stood and wipe dry. The flower needs good air circulation.

After flowering

After the first flowering, the rose needs to be transplanted into a larger pot. If the flower seems weak and grows slowly, prune it, leaving a sprout about 7 cm tall. If you are replanting a flower, make sure it is planted at the same level in the new soil. The roots should not be deeper than they were in the previous pot.
