To determine the length of the bracelet, wrap the fabric around your arm and tie it in a double knot so that there are loose ends of the desired length. Do not forget about seam allowances. Sew all seams on the wrong side without sewing on one edge. Turn right out. Sew carefully and center the watch case. Tie the edges of the bracelet with decorative knots.
Step 2
If you have a strap left over from another watch, but suitable for attaching to yours, you can do this. Determine the material of the strap, consider whether it will be solid color or with some kind of pattern. Depending on this, purchase fabric or leather paint in the colors and shades you need from the store. Prepare a stencil for your drawing. Apply paint to the strap, let it dry. Then apply the pattern and after completely dry, attach the renewed bracelet to your watch.
Step 3
In addition, you can update a strap suitable for the watch with the help of decorative stones and rhinestones. Buy paint from the store that matches the material of the bracelet, stones, rhinestones, the colors and sizes you want, and special glue. Pre-paint the strap and design the pattern while it dries. For a complex pattern, prepare a stencil. Apply glue to the dried paint and attach stones and rhinestones in accordance with a thoughtful pattern.
Step 4
Use a regular plastic bracelet of the correct width. Using glue, attach the watch case to it, and then, if desired, carefully wrap the bracelet with rope, woolen thread or other materials you have, securing it with the same glue.
