DIY jewelry always looks very beautiful, unusual and original. I suggest you make a bow-shaped hairpin out of felt. It will perfectly complement your look.
It is necessary
- - base for hairpins;
- - a small piece of felt;
- - lace;
- - large bead;
- - hot glue;
- - thin ribbon;
- - braid;
- - thin leather cord;
- - a needle;
- - threads;
- - scissors.
Instructions
Step 1
Cut a rectangle out of the felt that is 15 x 5 centimeters in size. Place the resulting strip vertically on your work surface. Bend its edges to each other so that one slightly goes over the other.
Step 2
From the lace, cut a strip of exactly the same length as the felt strip. Attach one end of the lace to the junction of the edges of the rectangle. Wrap the entire felt blank with this material exactly in the middle, hiding the edges from the back.
Step 3
Then, using a thread, drag the resulting workpiece exactly in the center so that a bow forms.
Step 4
Use a thin leather cord to decorate the future hair clip. Make a loop out of it and fix it with glue. Then, by bending the cord into a figure eight, you get the second loop. Secure it with glue as well. In this way, make the remaining loops.
Step 5
Glue the figure obtained from the cord to the felt blank. Hide the ends of the cord by pulling them, for example, with a thin ribbon. Just do not forget that its edges should be fixed from the back.
Step 6
Wrap the base for the hairpin with strong tape. Fix it with hot glue, then attach it to the felt bow from the back.
Step 7
If desired, glue a large bead in the center of the decoration. The felt bow hairpin is ready!
