Step 1
First, come up with a model of the future bag - determine what kind of design it will have, and preferably, draw all its details in full size so that you do not have problems with patterns in the future.
Step 2
Use dense but soft fabrics as material - tweed, corduroy, flock, and others. Unlike leather, these materials are easy to process, and you can easily sew a bag out of them, even if you do not have sewing skills.
Step 3
Having thought over the style of the bag, and having chosen the fabric of the desired color, determine how and with what you will decorate it. The decor of the bag can be very diverse - it all depends on your imagination: embroidery with threads or beads, artificial flowers, appliques, rhinestones, ribbons, bows and other decorative items that can be found in specialized stores. Purchase accessories for your bag separately - rings, straps, clasps.
Step 4
According to the prepared drawings, cut out all the details of the bag from the selected fabric, taking into account the seam allowances. Cut out the sides of the bag, its bottom, pockets, handles separately. Then duplicate the pattern on the special lining fabric that you will place inside the bag.
Step 5
Double-stitch all parts together from the wrong side using high quality and durable synthetic threads - sew the front and lining of the bag together.
Step 6
For the handles of the bag, you can use strips of fabric cut out in advance, or you can attach ready-made straps or chains to it.
