Buttons are great for self-production of products, since they can be repainted, wrapped in fabric, thus changing their appearance.

Creation of a bronze panel

For work you will need: buttons, frame, fiberboard, paper napkins, salt dough, beads, PVA, glue, acrylic paints and spray varnish. You will need paints in black, gold, bronze and copper colors.

The panel will have a relief image of a vase with flowers in the form of buttons, which stands on a table covered with a tablecloth, behind you will see a window with curtains tucked to one side. Initially, we need to make a tablecloth, for which it is necessary to use napkins, which should be cut into strips of the same width. PVA is to be diluted in water in a 1: 1 ratio.

The folds for the part of the tablecloth hanging from the table should be formed after softening the napkins in PVA. The paper must be squeezed out, laid out in the lower part of the fiberboard and distributed with an accordion of wooden sticks, forming the desired shape. The table should also be made of napkins, but in this case they should be laid out in exactly several layers.

The window must be formed with flagella made of napkins dipped in PVA. A curtain can be made in the same way as a tablecloth; folds for it can be of any kind. The panel should now be left to dry for 24 hours. Then you can start adding color to the painting. The entire surface must be painted with initially black paint, then the frame, tablecloth, curtain and picture frame can be painted with gold using a dry brush and a sponge. The wall and glass of the window can be bronze.

A vase can be formed from salted dough and baked in the oven, strengthened to the picture, this part should be painted with bronze. Now you can start attaching the buttons to the glue, which need to be laid in the form of daisies. In conclusion, the surface of the painting should be covered with aerosol varnish.

Personalized present

As another gift solution, you can use a personalized painting. To do this, you will need to prepare 2 frames, a piece of drywall, paper and buttons. The paper should be used in two contrasting colors, and the frames should be different in size, the outer one should be carved, and the inner one should be thin.

To make such a gift, you should adjust the drywall to the size of the larger frame by gluing a lighter shade of paper to its surface. The next layer will be a dark shade of paper to fit the smaller frame. On the top sheet, you need to depict the first letter of the name of the person for whom the gift is intended, and then stick the buttons along the contour and inside it. All elements can be reinforced with each other with a hot gun. In order to hang the picture on the wall, a long tape should be fastened to the back of the frame with a nail, which will go beyond the top edge of the picture and will be visible from the front side.
