Instructions
Step 1
Lamp-cone made of plastic spoons
Cut off the bottom of the plastic bottle, unscrew the cap. This will be the base for the lamp. Cut off the handles of the plastic spoons. Apply a drop of super glue to the top of the spoon and glue to the bottom of the bottle. Press the part and hold it for a couple of seconds. Glue the next spoon as close to the first one as possible. Glue the rest of the details in a row. Glue the spoons of the next row with an offset and overlap on the previous row. Try to keep the plastic bottle out of sight. Glue all the spoons to the base in the same way. Insert the socket into the lamp and screw in the energy-saving light bulb. It does not heat up, so this lampshade will not melt.
Step 2
Paper lamp
As a base for this original chandelier, you will need a simple paper lamp available from IKEA. Cut circles of the same diameter using tissue paper. Paste them over a paper lamp. Attach a piece of double-sided tape to the piece of tissue paper and glue it to the lamp, and do the first row at the bottom, and overlap the subsequent ones.
Step 3
Coffee lamp
This elegant lamp is a real boon for coffee lovers. It was invented by the American designer Lampada, but it is quite possible to make it with your own hands. To make it, you need coffee filters, which must be rinsed and dried beforehand. Glue the prepared filters to the lampshade using PVA glue and let the lamp dry. Now you can insert the socket, screw in the energy-saving light bulb and enjoy the pleasant soft light and light aroma of your favorite drink.
Step 4
Teapot lamp
The original idea for a DIY lamp can be borrowed from the Italian designer Tommaso Guer, who created cute lamps from an ordinary teapot. Take a teapot (the easiest way to work with a plastic one) and make a hole in the bottom of the required size so that you can insert a cartridge into it. To do this, use a drill with a special attachment. If necessary, wet it with water during operation. Insert the socket and screw in the energy saving light bulb.
