Soft, funny and fluffy, the teddy bear will become your little one's friend and playmate. There are many ways to make a bear, but it is not so important how professionally the toy is made, the main thing is that the toy will keep your hands warm and delight its owner.
It is necessary
- - paper for patterns
- - the cloth
- - sewing accessories
- - synthetic winterizer or foam rubber
Instructions
Step 1
Make a pattern. On a piece of paper (tracing paper, wrapping or tissue paper, graph paper will do) draw the main details of the toy - two parts each for the head and torso, four upper legs, four feet, one nose, one muzzle, two lips and four ears. Choose the shape of the details arbitrarily - imagine how you want to see the future bear cub. Do not forget to leave stock for the seams.
Step 2
Open the fabric. To make a bear, choose materials that are soft and pleasant to the touch - plush, faux fur, terry cloth or brushed fabric. Lay out the pattern pieces on the wrong side of the fabric and secure with pins. Carefully cut the material along the contour, keeping in mind the fabric.
Step 3
Sew the toy. All parts must be connected together and sewn in pairs from the seamy side. Leave room for filling parts of the toy. Start with the head, then connect the torso, then the legs and feet.
Step 4
Prepare the filler - you can use a soft (synthetic winterizer, foam rubber, cotton wool) or granular (silicone-coated polyester balls) material. Stuff the parts with filler. Sew the head to the body, having previously pulled both parts with a thread at the junction. The feet can be sewn in the usual way or with a rope hinge. Pass the dense thread folded several times through the body and connect with the legs, pulling as tightly as possible. Leave the ears empty and sew to the top of the head with an inconspicuous seam.
Step 5
Decorate the muzzle. Pull the triangular piece of the muzzle from one edge with a thread, fill it with filler and sew to the head. For the nose, you can take a large bead or a piece of fabric covered and stuffed with cotton wool. Sew the details of the lips and secure them to the muzzle. The eyes can be embroidered or glued - a black circle inside a large white circle. Sew on a piece of fur instead of a ponytail, tie a scarf around your neck - your bear is ready.
