You can sew such a funny rug into the children's room, which the baby will definitely like and at the same time decorate the room.
It is necessary
- - 0.6 m long pile brown faux fur;
- - pink fabric (for the nose);
- - 0.6 m white short-pile artificial fur;
- - filler (kosmere, wool, synthetic winterizer);
- - black threads for embroidery;
- - cotton fabric (for lining);
Instructions
Step 1
Draw a rug pattern in accordance with the diagram. The size of the rug is 80 x 63 cm.
Step 2
Cut out the top part from the white fur, and 17 triangles and the bottom part from the brown fur. Cut out 2 parts of the rug from the lining fabric. Cut a triangle out of pink fabric for the nose detail. When cutting all parts, take into account the seam allowances.
Step 3
Sew triangles to the upper part along the edges (see diagram).
Using a hot iron and flesofix, fix the nose part, having previously processed the edges with a zigzag seam. Embroider eyes, mustache, muzzle with black threads.
Step 4
Sew the embroidered upper part with lining. Similarly, connect the lower part with the lining: folding the upper and lower parts with the front sides together, grind, leave a small area free so that you can turn the product out.
Unscrew the rug, fill it loosely with filler, sew up the open area by hand with a blind seam.
