Small dogs will need shoes not only for a walk, but also at home. Although it is not so cold at home, it is still warmer in slippers … Besides, a little dandy will look very comfortable in them, of course, only if the slippers do not irritate him.
It is necessary
- - 30 g of colored and 10 g of black yarn (250m / 100g) for the size of the sole 4X5 cm;
- - four knitting needles (no. 2, 5), a sewing needle;
- - 1 m satin ribbon, rubber thread.
Instructions
Step 1
Tie the sample to determine the knitting density: cast on 24 loops on the needles and tie 30 rows with a 1X1 elastic band, the fabric should be 10X10 cm in size. Cut 18 loops with a double thread and tie 32 rows, the canvas - 10X10 cm.
Step 2
Measure the length and width of the sole (here 5 cm or 16 rows; 4 cm or 7 loops); the height of the toe of the slippers (1, 5 cm or 4 rows); the height of the slippers (4 cm or 12 rows); girth of the foot along the upper edge of the slippers (12 cm or 36 loops); distance from toe to bootleg (2 cm or 6 rows).
Step 3
Start knitting from the sole, it is done in garter stitch. Cast on 7 loops with black yarn in two strands and make two rows, in the third add one loop on each side, then continue the fabric to the sixteenth row. In the sixteenth row, knit two loops together from each end and in the next close the loops.
Step 4
Tie the bootleg: knit the first two rows in garter stitch. Cast on the edge of the sole with colored thread on the first and third needles, 6 loops each (heel and toe), on the second and fourth - 8 loops each (side parts). In the second row, tie the heel and toe, adding 3 loops each, add 4 loops to the side parts.
Step 5
Knit further with a 1X1 elastic band in four rows (toe height). Then complete the front of the slippers: knit on the knitting needle where the sock loops are located, 6 rows (the distance from the toe to the bootleg) with garter stitch. Each last loop on the “toe” knitting needle, knit together with the first loop from the knitting needle of the side part (in the first row - front, in the second - purl) and leave on the “toe” knitting needle, then turn the knitting.
Step 6
Continue to knit the bootleg on four knitting needles (each has 9 loops after the sock) with 1X1 elastic for 8 more rows and close the loops. To prevent the slipper from falling off, sew a rubber thread on the bootleg. Cut the satin ribbon in half and sew at the center back to the shaft.
