Burnout Paradise is the only game in the popular console series to hit PC. It is especially pleasant that the developers did not load the game with complex security systems, and the installation does not cause problems for any user.
Instructions
Step 1
Check the health of your computer. Even though the game does not impose serious system requirements, your system may well not meet the minimum configuration required to run. Stable operation is guaranteed on a 2.8 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM, a 128 MB video card and at least four gigabytes of free hard disk space.
Step 2
Installation from licensed and pirated CDs is identical. After you insert the DVD into the drive, the autorun program will launch, presenting the installation menu in front of you. If it doesn't, open the disk manually and run the program named setup or autorun. Follow the instructions provided by the installer: choose where to install the product, whether to create a folder in the start menu, etc. After the installation is complete, simply launch the game using the appropriate shortcut on the desktop.
Step 3
The version downloaded from the internet may require an emulator. It often happens that an inexperienced user, having downloaded a game with a single file with an obscure.iso or.mdf extension, falls into a stupor. The fact is that you downloaded a "disk image" - in fact, the same pirated version, but in a virtual embodiment. To run it, you need a "drive emulator" such as UltraISO or Daemon Tools. After installing such a program, right-click on the downloaded file and find the command "mount to drive" ("emulate image"). The result will be full visibility of the disk location in the virtual drive, and the installation will be similar to the first step.
Step 4
Downloading the archive with the game, you may come across a portable version. The beauty of Burnout is that, technically, you don't have to install it at all. For example, if you have a flash drive of sufficient size, then nothing prevents you from copying the game files to it and transferring them to another computer. The only problem will be the lack of saves, but this will be solved simultaneously with the creation of a new slot. Therefore, do not be alarmed if the files you downloaded do not have to be installed - in this case, you can immediately start playing.
