The ability to originally remake a well-known song is very useful if you go to a wedding or anniversary, take part in a skit or KVN game, want to make an original gift to friends or relatives.
It is necessary
Original song recording, original text, backing track (without words), notebook
Instructions
Step 1
Listen to the selected song several times. Make it easy for you to play her melody yourself.
Step 2
Decide on a parody style. If you want to make a humorous parody of an existing song, try to learn the lyrics of the song by heart, or at least memorize 70% -80% of the lyrics, this will be very useful to you in the future. If you plan to write new words for this melody, it will be enough to scan the text with your eyes to imagine the possible size and rhythm of the verse.
Step 3
Write down the main topics that should be covered in your song. If this is a parody of the original, determine what exactly you would like to play a trick on. If you completely redo the lyrics and theme of the song, decide what it will be about. It is advisable to choose a theme for each verse.
Step 4
Start jotting down new lyrics and writing down any phrases that come to mind. If a few good lines come to mind, and you can't write the next ones, try to at least sketch out possible rhyme options for the words you have already invented.
Step 5
Make all your notes in one notebook (the printed original text can be pasted on the first sheet). Carry a notebook with you and write down the lines that come to mind. Try to listen to the audio recording of the song as often as possible until the melody starts spinning in your head.
Step 6
Collect all the pieces together. Start singing the resulting song, singing "la-la-la" in place of the lines that you haven't finished yet. This will help fill in the gaps with new text sooner.
Step 7
Try playing the resulting song in different keys. Choose the one in which it will be convenient for you to sing it at the performance. To make sure that the song sounds good - sing it to your friends or record your voice, and then listen to the recording.
