For a scarf, you will need wool of two colors (bright yellow and burgundy), knitting needles, scissors. Wool blend threads are also suitable. But it is better not to choose synthetics, because our winters are not very warm.
when buying wool, pay attention to the approximate calculation of thread consumption and the recommended number of knitting needles (this information is indicated on the paper label that is on each skein). Purchase threads with the expectation of the most comfortable product sizes for the future owner.
1. Tie a sample (for example, 10 or 20 loops for 10-20 rows), which will help you accurately calculate the size of the future scarf.
2. Cast on the desired number of loops and knit a straight fabric in front rows. Change the color every 20-25 rows to get wide stripes, like on the scarf shown in the photo below:
