A beautiful sweater with bulky braids does not require additional decoration. And products made with hosiery can be decorated with embroidery using different seams - chain stitch, looped, rococo.

It is necessary

  • - a needle with a wide eyelet, a thin needle;
  • - woolen threads of different colors;
  • - beads, bugles, sequins.

Instructions

Step 1

Buttonhole seam. With its help, you can create various colored motifs, the technique of its implementation is in many ways similar to cross stitching, so ready-made schemes on lined paper are suitable for work. Each stitch corresponds to one square in the diagram. Insert the thread into the needle, tie a knot. Pull the thread into the base of the buttonhole on the right side.

Step 2

Insert the needle into the bottom of the top row of the buttonhole, bring the thread to the right side again, and end the stitch where you started sewing. The working thread should completely repeat the outlines of the knitted loop. Sew the adjacent buttonhole in the same way, try not to over-tighten the thread. To avoid knots on the seamy side, use the thread-securing technique for cross stitching.

Step 3

Tambour seam. It allows you to embroider patterns with a clear outline on knitwear. Fasten the thread from the wrong side, bring it to the right side. Place the thread on the garment in such a way that it forms a loop, insert the needle where the thread begins, pry in several weaves of the knitting, bring to the right side and tighten. You will have a loop. Repeat the operation.

Step 4

Such stitches can be stitched not only along the knitted rows, but also in other directions. Run several parallel paths to fill the space within the desired area. In the same way, you can lay a stalk seam on knitted things. Try not to overtighten the thread so as not to deform the product.

Step 5

Rococo seam. This sophisticated embroidery technique allows you to create unusual floral designs. Fasten the thread, bring the needle to the right side of the product. Insert the tip of the needle into the knitting hole near the starting point, step back a few loops from the wrong side, bring the tip to the right side, but do not pull the thread. Wrap the working thread around the needle several times, hold the turns with the fingers of your left hand. Gently pull the needle to the right side, making sure that the threads are not twisted.

Step 6

To fix the resulting "boucle", bring the thread to the wrong side. Place several of these stitches side by side, you get a flower. You can add embroidery with leaves made in the same way. Use a stem stitch to create twigs.
