Almost all children love to jump. As a rule, they use a sofa, armchair or bed for these purposes. Usually, jumping on upholstered furniture does not arouse understanding among parents. But parents should be aware that jumping is very beneficial for the child. They normalize breathing and blood circulation, strengthen the musculoskeletal system. The construction of a trampoline will save you from conflicts with the baby, once again jumping with gusto on your favorite sofa.

It is necessary

  • - two metal hoops with a diameter of at least 115 cm;
  • - wooden beams;
  • - drill with drills;
  • - tarpaulin;
  • - slings;
  • - round rubber;
  • - pencil;
  • - scissors;
  • - foam rubber;
  • - pieces of rubber

Instructions

Step 1

Take a piece of wood and cut it into 8 pieces, 30 cm long.

Step 2

Measure the diameter of the metal hoop. Drill holes in each bar with a drill. The hole diameter should be about 2mm larger than the diameter of the metal hoop. The holes should be located on both sides of the bar, not far from its edges.

Step 3

Separate the hoops and insert them into the holes in the bars. It should be noted that the structure must be rigidly fixed.

Step 4

Take a tarp and draw a 1m circle on it. Cut the circle out with scissors. Fold in the edges and hem carefully.

Step 5

Make 16 loops from a sling about 3 cm thick. Sew loops at equal distances from each other along the edges of the tarp.

Step 6

Take a thick round rubber and thread it through the loops, wrapping around the hoop. Pull the rubber tight.

Step 7

Sew a round cover out of the tarp. The size of the cover should allow you to put it on the trampoline in such a way that it covers the gaps between the stretched rubber. This is necessary so that when using the trampoline, the child does not fall into these gaps with his foot. Sew elastic bands or ropes to the cover in 8 places, placing them at the same distance from each other. Attach the cover to the trampoline using the sewn-on ropes, tying them to the legs of the trampoline. If desired, decorate the cover with an applique.

Step 8

Secure the foam pieces to the top of the trampoline legs with glue and tape.

Step 9

Glue pieces of rubber to the bottom of the trampoline feet to avoid slipping. The trampoline is ready.

Step 10

An alternative version of the trampoline can be made from a large diameter car tire. Drill holes in the tire with a drill at a distance of no more than 2 cm from each other. The holes should be located in the part of the tire where the rubber is at its maximum thickness, i.e. near the tread. Lace the holes with round rubber or nylon twine. The lacing should look the same as on tennis rackets. Pull the twine tight and secure the ends firmly.
