Everyone knows the cartoon "The Lion King", and it is difficult to find a person who would not watch it and sympathize with the little lion cub Simba. If you or your child are fans of the Lion King cartoon characters, you can learn how to draw Simba with your own hands. Such drawings will delight both adults and children, and you can see your favorite character in front of you at any time.
Instructions
Step 1
Open the finished image of a lion cub to guide the proportions as you paint. On a blank sheet of paper, draw a rounded outline of Simba's head, and then draw auxiliary lines inside the outline that define the angle of rotation of the head and the location of the muzzle. To do this, draw a curved line through the center of the circle with a bend directed to the left, and draw several horizontal lines across the vertical line, corresponding to the location of the eyes, nose and mouth of the character.
Step 2
With a stroke, sketch out the neck connecting the head to the torso, and then draw the torso, consisting of two circles, one of which overlaps part of the other. On the back of the torso, sketch out the outlines of an upward curved tail with a tassel, and also draw the outlines of the front legs with wide pads.
Step 3
Detail the lion cub's head - draw out the outlines of the large eyes, as well as the nose and jaw, which stand out just below the main outline of the head. Also draw two large ears to the left and right of the head. Draw the outlines of the lion cub's hind legs, as well as detail the front legs and tail.
Step 4
Draw the ears in more detail to make them look voluminous and realistic, and then make the character's paws more prominent and depict the fur on his chest with short strokes.
Step 5
Now animate Simba's eyes - make them deeper, draw the pupils and eyebrows, and detail the nose and teeth. Draw a shaggy brush at the tip of the tail with hatching, and then outline the lines of the toes on Simba's paws.
Step 6
Darken the pupils and eyebrows, and outline the shaggy bangs over Simba's forehead. Draw the relief of the torso and add areas of light and shadow. Compare your drawing with the original.
