Instructions
Step 1
Before starting work, the bottle must be thoroughly washed, inside and outside, and then dried.
Degrease the surface of the bottle with alcohol or solvent using a cotton pad. This is necessary in order for the paint to lay down smoothly and beautifully.
Step 2
Now, using a wide brush or a foam rubber swab, apply white acrylic paint to the entire surface of the bottle. Apply in two layers with drying.
Step 3
Let's prepare a picture for pasting. If we use napkins for decoupage, then the plot you like must be cut out, the two lower layers of the napkin must be removed, the drawing along the edge must be torn off carefully so that there is an uneven background, while the picture itself remains intact.
If the picture was printed on a regular sheet of office paper, then you need to remove several layers of paper under the picture. To do this, turn the sheet upside down, moisten it a little with water and rub it with short movements with slight pressure, rolling up the extra layers of paper with your fingers. Or turn the sheet upside down, stick very sticky tape tightly and carefully remove it along with the extra layers of paper.
Now also put the picture down on the file and carefully coat with glue. Transfer the drawing to the bottle using a file, smooth it out, remove the file, wipe off excess glue.
Step 4
Next, decorate the bottle with an eggshell mosaic. To do this, the shells need to be broken into pieces and glued to the bottle with a bamboo stick or needle.
When the glue is dry, apply a silver-colored acrylic paint to the mosaic with a dry brush.
Cover the bottle with varnish, dry.
Step 5
Light a candle, melt a little, apply drips, imitating the long-term use of this candlestick.
Insert the candle into the neck of the bottle, if necessary, cut a little from the bottom on the sides to keep it stable.
You can make a candlestick in a different style to fit it organically into any interior.
