The popularity of paper crafts is growing steadily. Origami mugs and sections create new designs for their crafts. You can expand the variety of your origami-style crafts by making a dinosaur out of paper.
1) Take a square piece of paper and fold it in half and diagonally. The size of the square determines the height of the future dinosaur figurine. The dinosaur will be one-third the length of the side of the square.
2) Reproduce the folds numbered 1, 2 and 3 on the folded square.
3) Open these folds to their original position. Pull corner A while holding the model by the edges.
4) Flip the model over and make similar folds numbered 1, 2 and 3 on the other side. Unfold the resulting folds and pull on corner B while gently holding the model.
5) Open corner C. Then iron the workpiece by hand or with an iron to sharpen the edges of the paper.
6) Close corner C with corner A.
7) Fold corner C in half.
8) At corners G and H, make folds by bending these corners in opposite directions.
9) Right corner D inside the part. This piece of the blank will be the dinosaur's tail.
10) Fold corners A and B.
11) Using the dotted lines in the figure, bend corners A and B.
12) Straighten the same corners into the workpiece.
13) Bend corners E and F, and bend corners A, B, C 90 degrees relative to their extensions.
14) Bend corner C to the left side of the workpiece. Fold the corners E and F forward.
15) Make the front legs of the dinosaur by folding the corners E and F.
16) Make a dinosaur neck by bending the corners inward.
17) The dinosaur figurine is ready.
