Everyone knows that dolls are not only rubber and plastic, but also paper. A handmade paper doll will be a great gift and a great toy for any child. You can fold a doll without using scissors using the Japanese origami technique from several modules, and you can paint the finished doll in any colors if you wish. Also, for the doll to be colored, you can use squares and rectangles from ready-made colored paper.
Instructions
Step 1
You will need a rectangular sheet of paper measuring 20 by 10 cm, a 9 by 9 cm square, as well as two 3 by 3 cm squares. Place the rectangle in front of you vertically, and then bend its bottom edge up, and bend the top edge down so that the top fold was just above the center of the rectangle, and the bottom one just slightly rose above the edge.
Step 2
Fold the resulting workpiece in half vertically, and then bend the left and right upper corners to the center fold line. Bend each of the corners, focusing on the inclined fold line, bend outward, making a fold exactly in the center of the triangle, and flatten the pockets on the left and right.
Step 3
Fold the top halves of the triangular pockets back. Fold the sides of the figure back, picking up only the back layer of paper. Bend the sides of the front top part away from you, and then bend the bottom corners of the back part away from you. Thus, you have made the body of the future man.
Step 4
For the head, take a large square and fold it along two diagonals. Then bend one of the corners to the center point of the square, then bend the upper straight line again to the center line of the fold.
Step 5
Step back a little on both sides of the center vertical line and bend the left and right sides towards you. Turn the part over and bend the lower corner upwards. Fold up two small corners. Turn the workpiece over again - you should get a head with a haircut.
Step 6
Use two small squares to make paper bows for the girl. Bend the squares in half away from you, and then lift and bend the rectangles diagonally in the lower right corner. Bend the part obliquely. Repeat with the second piece. Glue the bows to the hairstyle, and glue the head to the torso. Draw the doll's face, decorate her dress. The paper doll is ready.
