Step 1
First of all, decide on what kind of toy you will sew. If you are a beginner craftsman, then choose a ready-made description on a needlework website or in a women's magazine. If you already have experience, then try to make a toy from the selected photo or invent a toy yourself, in fact it is not difficult.
Step 2
Prepare paper, transparent tracing paper, or just plastic wrap. If available, then it is better to use tracing paper, but it is quite rare in our homes, but ordinary white paper or plastic wrap can always be found. Also, prepare a pen or pencil.
Step 3
If you decide to make a toy based on the description from the Internet, then open the desired page and enlarge the image of the pattern to the desired size by clicking on it with the mouse button. If the image is published in a magazine, increase its size using the cell method, or be content with the size that is suggested. The cell method is as follows: draw out a sheet of your fabric cutting template into identical squares, and on another sheet of paper, draw larger squares. Then carefully redraw the pattern, keeping all the proportions. Do the same if you need to reduce its size.
Step 4
Transfer the pattern to a piece of paper or plastic wrap. To do this, attach the sheet to a computer screen or magazine page, and draw the main lines that will show through the canvas. Carefully cut out the pattern with scissors. The patterns are ready, start sewing the soft toy.
