It would seem that there is nothing easier than shooting with a slingshot. You take a slingshot, take a stone, pull on an elastic band and shoot. But even here there are subtleties. And they can be very interesting to all those who have chosen slingshot shooting as their hobby.

Step 1
So how do you shoot your slingshot correctly? First, the point of attachment is extremely important. Pulling back the gum with a stone, you bring it closer to your face, fixing it under the eye, on the cheekbone or near the ear before shooting. This is an extremely dangerous moment, since you want to bring the stone in the elastic band closer to the eye and, squinting, get right on target. Usually the rubber band breaks at the point of contact with the stone, but sometimes also near the horns of the slingshot, so we recommend fixing the hand near the cheekbone or ear.
Step 2
Secondly, you need to know that there are two methods of holding the slingshot before shooting: horizontal and vertical. The horizontal method is when the plane defined by the stone and the points of attachment of the elastic to the horns is horizontal. Experienced shooters, on the other hand, hold the slingshot by turning it 90 degrees or less. This retention is called vertical.
Step 3
It is also worth noting that the slingshot technique does not imply long aiming. You simply put a stone in the rubber band, stretched the rubber band in one motion and raised the slingshot into a firing position. Then just let go of the fingers from the rubber band, and the stone flies to the target.
