Weaving elastic bracelets is an incredibly exciting experience. Now, in almost every children's store or handicraft shop, you can purchase special kits, which include rubber bands, a hook, and a slingshot machine, and make yourself a unique accessory.
First of all, prepare everything you need to make a bracelet: rubber bands, a hook, a clasp, scissors and a slingshot. Decide on the color of the bracelet (it can be woven in either one-color or multi-colored). Take the "slingshot" in your right hand, and with your left hand put an elastic band on this machine, having previously crossed it (as a result, the rubber band itself on the "slingshot" should look like the number "8").
Next, take two more rubber bands and put them on the machine, but without crossing them. At this stage of weaving, you need to make sure that the rubber bands do not twist together.
Now take the hook in your left hand, hook it with one end of the lower rubber band (crossed) and carefully, bending around the column, move it to the middle of the "slingshot" (over the two rubber bands located on it). Do the same with the other end of the elastic.
Take another elastic band and put it back on the "slingshot" without crossing it. Hook up the end of the bottom elastic and move it to the center of the slingshot. Repeat with the second end.
Continue to weave the bracelet, following the instructions above, until you reach the desired length of the accessory (during weaving, it is advisable to try on the product, then you will definitely not be mistaken with the length). Once the work is finished, attach a clasp to the end of the bracelet and remove the product from the machine.
Cut off the excess elastic band with scissors (it stands out on the bracelet, since it is not woven into it), and then attach the other end of the accessory to the clasp.
The elastic bracelet is ready.
