Instructions

Step 1

Take a rectangular sheet of red colored paper. Fold the upper corners diagonally so that the cross lines form a square, to which the lower narrow strip is added.

Step 2

Turn the sheet over with the wrong side up. Fold the bottom strip in half. Thus, on the seamy side, you will have a narrow strip of red at the bottom of the part.

Step 3

Turn the workpiece over with the red side up, and then horizontally fold down the top of the "square", so that the fold passes through the center point of the diagonals. Align the folded edge with the top edge of the bottom strip. Turn the workpiece over.

Step 4

Expand the top "square" - you should have three folds (two diagonal and one horizontal). Along these folds, fold the top square so as to form a triangle, which will be based on a narrow rectangular strip.

Step 5

Fold the lower left corner and the lower right corner of the triangle to its apex. Bend the left side of the figure towards the center, then bend its right side towards the center. You will have a "house" shape. Fold the figurine in half vertically and flip it over.

Step 6

Fold the two lower corners up to the center, forming an acute corner at the bottom of the workpiece. Bend the top corner on your side down.

Step 7

There will be two free corners at the top of the workpiece - you must also bend them, directing one corner to the left and the other to the right. Tuck the corners into your pockets. You will see how the figurine has acquired the shape of a heart.
