If you want to make an original gift for friends or loved ones on Valentine's Day, then try to weave a heart from rubber bands on a loom. This is done quickly enough using a simple weaving technique.
It is necessary
- –78 elastic bands of violet-white color;
- -machine;
- - hook with metal base.
Instructions
Step 1
Take a couple of rubber bands and throw it anywhere on the machine to get this pattern.
Step 2
Next, on the center and leftmost row, throw a pair of elastic bands vertically.
Step 3
Take one elastic and wrap it four times around the lowermost column of the left row. Then pull the cross-sections along the entire machine.
Step 4
Begin crocheting each row, grabbing the stitches that are higher than the others in the extreme column of the left row, and throw them over the next column.
Step 5
Take two elastic bands and place one at a time on the posts. This must be done for the future connection with another part of the heart.
Step 6
Weave each row by crocheting a pair of upper elastic bands in each column and transferring to the next.
Step 7
Remove the resulting pattern from the machine, but remember to leave a few loops so that you can remove half of the heart on the hook. Take a couple of elastic bands, hook and pull through all the loops on the hook. Tighten the knot.
Step 8
Place a pair of rubber bands over the loom to create the second half of the heart, which will be identical to the first. Attach the first piece of the heart to the bar with free loops in this way. Remember to wrap one elastic four turns around the bottom left post.
Step 9
Weave the second half of the heart to the end and remove it from the crochet hook. Take a pair of elastic bands, pull them over the hook and remove the loops of the second part of the heart that are located on the hook, and then return the elastic bands from your finger back to the hook.
Step 10
Untie the knot on the first half of the heart and put this loop over the hook. Take three light purple elastic bands on which you need to throw off the loops from the hook. Secure the heart with another rubber band. Make a final knot at the end of the heart.
