Such a toy, sewn with love and diligence, can become the most beautiful and desirable gift for a girl. The child will take care of her and be proud of such a special toy. And making a beautiful doll is not so difficult.

Step 1
Before starting work, you should decide from what material and what kind of doll you want to make. A lot of patterns can be found on the Internet. Copy the patterns, print them and transfer the patterns to the fabric. But maybe you want to recreate some kind of doll from your childhood and come up with a pattern on your own.
Step 2
It is not at all necessary to buy new fabric for a toy. For a small rag doll, scraps of fabric and things from which your child has already grown will work. A very good option is to use peach or pink knitted fabric for the head, arms and legs. Cut out the necessary details.
Step 3
Sew the parts and stuff the blanks. It is good to use foam rubber and synthetic winterizer for filling. The latter is slightly softer and can be shaped. Cotton wool and fabric trimmings are not very suitable for stuffing. the parts are too heavy and dense.
Step 4
Gather the arms, legs, and body. Sew on all the details carefully so that parts of the doll do not come off when playing. Leave the hole for the head unsewn.
Step 5
Work out the doll's head separately, it is better to use a synthetic winterizer for stuffing it. With a thread and a needle, sewing and tightening, you can create a real face for your beautiful doll. You can also sculpt your face with a special air-curing mass or salt dough.
Step 6
When the head is ready, carefully sew it onto the doll's body. Use strong nylon or reinforced threads. It remains to dress the doll, do her hair and make-up.
Step 7
For hair, use woolen or linen threads, fringe or floss threads. Children are very fond of combing their soft girlfriends. Therefore, it is undesirable to glue the hair to the doll's head. The easiest way is to sew the folded threads through paper or tape and sew them onto the toy. This will allow the baby to braid his beautiful woman pigtails or make her a free hairstyle. You can even make the doll hair up to the toes, and invite the child to be her hairdresser.
Step 8
Make the doll's eyes soft. You can glue ready-made eyes (plastic and very similar to real ones) or draw (embroider) them on your face.
Step 9
Dress up the doll. Sew outfits for the finished toy. Children love to dress up dolls. Try to keep dresses, pants or hats loose and easy to attach to the toy. Remember, girls are very offended if the dress does not fit on the head, and the trousers are "tightly" sewn to the legs.
