Many of us do not like to wear hats, but there is an alternative option, such as a knitted strip on the head, which not only saves from the cold, but also looks great like a headband and does not spoil the hair at all. There are several types of stripes: ordinary knitted or decorated with all kinds of appliqués. But they have the same knitting technique.

Yarn, knitting needles
Instructions
Step 1
Choose for yourself the color of the yarn from which your strip will be knitted. It should not only fit the face, but also perfectly harmonize with outerwear.
Step 2
Determine for yourself what density the bandage will be: if it is light and airy, then you will need thick knitting needles, and if the dressing is more dense, then the knitting needles should be thin.
Step 3
Measure the circumference of your head with a tape measure, but do not overtighten or loose the tape around your head, this can lead to the fact that you tie either too small or too large a bandage. Do not forget that it will stretch a little.
Step 4
Calculate how many loops you get in one centimeter, then multiply this number by the number of centimeters you get when measuring head circumference.
Step 5
Type the number of loops obtained after counting and start knitting. You can dial the required number of loops on five knitting needles, then the bandage will be seamless, or you can use two knitting needles, but then you will have to make a small seam at the back.
Step 6
You can knit a bandage in both horizontal and vertical stripes. There are many different patterns that you can use when knitting a strip on your head. You can decorate it with stones and beads, which will give it a more festive look. You can also knit a bandage for sports, it will ideally remove hair from the forehead, which still crawl into the face during training. Try knitting several options for going out or every day. A knitted headband can be used instead of a headband, it will not fall off and press. In some moments, it even gives a special sophistication and attractiveness to your hairstyle and appearance, ideally complementing the color scheme of clothes.
