Kurt Cobain passed away very young. According to the official version, it was suicide. But many close relatives of the rock musician and experts believe that Kurt was killed. One of the suspects in the murder was his widow Courtney Love.
Events that happened shortly before death
The death of Kurt Cobain came as a complete surprise to everyone. The musician died at the age of 27. Shortly before the tragedy, events began to occur in his life that could lead to such a sad ending. In 1994, Kurt's relationship with his wife, Courtney Love, took a turn for the worse. They constantly quarreled and publicly expressed complaints against each other. The rock musician suffered from severe drug addiction. The organizers of the "Lollapalooza" music festival invited the musicians of the "Nirvana" group to perform on stage, but Kurt rejected this offer, which provoked a new scandal with his wife. Courtney believed that he should not have missed such a chance. The group's managers were of the same opinion, but Cobain did not want to listen to anyone.
In March 1994, Kurt, who was on tour with his team, fell ill with bronchitis and laryngitis. He was sent to Rome for treatment, but a day later Courtney, who came to her husband, found him unconscious in a hotel. The musician was taken to the clinic and diagnosed with an overdose of potent drugs. Kurt said that it happened by accident, but after his death, they wrote that he himself wanted to send himself to another world.
In March 1994, another incident occurred. Kurt locked himself in the room and threatened to shoot himself in the head with a gun. The musician had a large collection of weapons. His wife Courtney had to call the police. After these events, the spouse and friends persuaded Cobain to go to the clinic and undergo rehabilitation. He agreed, but the musician failed to recover. Kurt escaped from the clinic a few days later and Courtney even hired a private investigator to find her missing husband.
Death of Kurt Cobain
On April 8, 1994, electrician Gary Smith came to Cobain's home early in the morning to install a security system. No one opened the door for him, but Gary noticed a parked car, so he checked the garage and looked into the greenhouse. Through the glass door, he found Kurt Cobain lying on the floor. The rock musician lay with a bullet in his head. Nearby was a gun, a guitar, and a little further away they found a suicide note. In it, he asked for forgiveness from his fans. The bulk of the message was addressed to Bodda, an imaginary childhood friend.
Later, experts established that Kurt died a few days ago and named the date of death on April 5. A large dose of heroin was found in his blood. Official documents indicate that death was caused by a penetrating gunshot wound to the head, and the cause of death was suicide.
Murder version
Many experts and friends, relatives of Kurt Cobain refused to believe in the official version of suicide. Relatives claimed that he could not commit suicide, despite the prolonged depression. The musician had many plans for the future. Experts found several facts at once strange. Drugs were found in the blood of the rock legend and their concentration was 3 times higher than the lethal dose. Forensic doctors assured that the illegal drug was supposed to work instantly. If a person injects himself with such a dose of heroin, he should not even have the strength to pull the syringe out of the vein. According to the official version of the investigation, Kurt not only removed the syringe, but also went for a gun, after which he shot himself.
The suicide note also raises many questions. There is no direct appeal to his wife and daughter. Kurt wrote to his fans that he was tired and no longer happy with the music he writes and performs. There was not a word about leaving this life. On the gun found near the body, they did not find clear fingerprints of both Kurt himself and strangers.
According to many people from the inner circle, it looks more like a contract murder. The customer could be Cobain's widow Courtney Love. Lately, they have not gotten along and were even going to divorce. In the event of a divorce, Courtney would receive almost nothing. After the death of the rock musician, several drafts of the will were found in his house. It was not drawn up in favor of the wife, but had no legal force.
