A flag is a symbol, a panel of one or more colors. Standards and pennants can show loyalty to power or belonging to a particular group and company. Multicolored flags are used as decorations, to create a festive mood, to maintain team spirit. There are many types and ways of hanging and fixing flags.

Step 1
If you want to fix the banner in the interior, use a wall flagpole. It consists of a flagpole with a slot for the flag, a cap and an attachment. The structure can be mounted to the wall at an angle of sixty or ninety degrees. The flagpole is fixed, as a rule, with double-sided tape or screws.
Step 2
If you need to hang a banner outside the building, use facade flagpoles, which come in different sizes. It is best if the bracket is made of metal. From one to three handles with banners are inserted into the front flagpole.
Step 3
To place a free-standing flag on the street, there are masts of different heights. Such designs are very common in large cities. Successful companies place their corporate flags on them, hotels support guests with the state symbols of their homeland. The average size of the mast is from six to eighteen meters. To fix the flagpole and strengthen the structure, a foundation is made of metal and concrete. The mast itself can be made of aluminum or fiberglass. The flag is raised to the top of the structure by pulling the cables.
Step 4
If you hang up the national flag, then the Federal Constitutional Law of the Russian Federation "On the State Flag of the Russian Federation" establishes some restrictions on its use. It is forbidden to place a distorted flag, change the order and width of its stripes, add any inscriptions on the banner. Permanent placement of the flag on non-governmental buildings is not allowed. The state symbol on the mast mount must be raised high, with the exception of mourning days, when the banner is lowered to half of the pole or a black ribbon is hung on the flag.
Step 5
Coloring flags are used to decorate the vessel on special occasions. They are on the halyards intended for raising and lowering sails. For the holiday, flags of any color can be used, with the exception of state symbols, the Navy, foreign and military flags and flags of the border guard.
Step 6
In order to pick up the flag, you need a wooden, plastic or metal pole. On the panel you need to make a pocket for attaching the pennant to a stick. To prevent the flag from sliding off the pole, the diameter of the bend should be only one or two millimeters larger than the diameter of the stick. Top pocket needs to be sewn up.
