What if the New Year is approaching, but there is no way to put a real Christmas tree in the apartment? It doesn't matter, in the end, a nice decorative Christmas tree made from cheap materials at hand can create a holiday feeling. You can make such a homemade forest beauty in a matter of minutes.

Heavy paper or cardboard, scissors, glue, pencil, green paint
Instructions
Step 1
Take a sheet of heavy paper or thin cardboard. The size of the sheet can be different - it all depends on how big a festive spruce you want to make.
Step 2
Paint the sheet on both sides with bright green paint. Of course, paint can be of any color, because you are not limited in your imagination. If there is no paint, self-adhesive sheets can be used, which must be carefully glued onto paper or cardboard. A Christmas tree made of scraps of paper of different colors (like a patchwork quilt) can turn out to be very cute.
Step 3
Twist a cone from the resulting sheet and glue it, making a sharp point. Cut the bottom of the cone exactly so that the future spruce stands firmly on a rounded base.
Step 4
On the side of the cone, draw the outlines of the branches in the form of rhombuses with a pencil. Place the rhombuses evenly over the entire surface of the cone; in the upper part they should be smaller in size than in the bottom.
Step 5
Carefully cut each such diamond-shaped branch along the contour, leaving the upper part intact, with which the branch will be attached to the trunk.
Step 6
Bend the branches of the Christmas tree to the side and fluff them, making additional cuts on the branch.
Step 7
Now the tree can be decorated by hanging small toys, beads, sweets on it - if the size of the forest beauty allows. At the top of the tree, you can insert an asterisk cut out of cardboard and painted with red paint. And small gifts prepared in advance in festive packaging can be hidden right under the cone-shaped trunk of the New Year's beauty.
