You can capture the beauty of a child using a camera or video camera. Of course, all parents take advantage of this opportunity. However, if you want to create a deeper image of a little boy or girl and put all your love into it, try drawing a child.
It is necessary
- - paper;
- - pencil;
- - eraser.
Instructions
Step 1
The main stage in creating a portrait of a child is building a drawing. It is important to consider the proportions of the body and face here. Since they are very different from the standard proportions of an adult, they must be measured directly while drawing. Practice this by drawing a little girl from a photograph.
Step 2
Place the sheet of paper vertically. Divide it in half with the vertical axis. It will be necessary to build the entire human figure on it. It is most convenient to take the height of the child's head as the unit of measurement for the rest of the body.
Step 3
Measure four equal line segments on the axis. The top one will represent the head, the rest will be the length of the body and legs. Mark the beginning and end of each line on the center axis.
Step 4
At the level of the second mark from the bottom, the hem of the dress will be located. If you measure two lines from the bottom, you get the location of the girl's left wrist. Please note that the right one will be higher. Divide the second segment from the top in half - at this level draw the belt of the dress. Just below, mark the girl's elbow.
Step 5
Start building the child's face. Separate with an arc the part of the head on which the bandage is located. Divide the rest of the surface in half with a horizontal line. The eyes will be at this level. Consider the fact that due to the position of the head in relation to the artist, the right eye will be located slightly lower than the left in the drawing. The same rule applies to the position of the eyebrows.
Step 6
Divide the face with three vertical lines into equal zones. The extreme line on the left will help you find the location of the girl's nose and corner of the eye.
Step 7
The length of the left eye can be used as the unit of measure for the face. The right one will be somewhat shorter, since the girl is half-turned. The distance between the eyes is equal to the selected unit of measurement and the width of the wings of the nose.
Step 8
The length of the nose from the bridge of the nose to the tip is also equal to one such segment; from the tip of the nose to the line of the mouth, set aside a few millimeters less. To determine the location of the corners of the lips, draw parallel lines downward from the corner of the left eye and the pupil of the right.
Step 9
To determine the width of the dress's hem, measure the width of the girl's head. The hem will be about 2.5 times larger than it.
Step 10
Draw in the small details of the portrait - the shape of the fingers, boots, hair - and start working with color. You can choose any paint, taking into account your skills in working with it, or shade the sketch with a simple pencil.
