To make a matryoshka at home, you need to purchase a special wooden blank. You can color the toys in different ways: you get traditional rural beauties or the Russian national football team.
It is necessary
- - wooden blank nesting dolls;
- - fine sandpaper;
- - PVA glue;
- - a brush for glue;
- - watercolor, gouache or acrylic paints;
- - gouache gold, mother-of-pearl;
- - squirrel brushes Nos. 0, 1, 2, 3;
- - varnish for wood, for example, PF-157, PF-238, solvent.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare your work surface: carefully sand the matryoshka blank. Mix PVA glue and water in a 1: 2 ratio, apply the resulting mixture to a wooden product. This kind of primer will not allow the pattern to blur. Leave it to dry for five to six hours.
Step 2
Draw the lines of the future drawing with a pencil. If the contours are uneven, they can be removed with an eraser or fine sandpaper. Separate the area of the scarf with a line, draw a round face. Draw handles on the body, do not forget about the decoration of the sundress - flowers, ornament - and scarf brushes. You can put a bouquet, a handkerchief, a samovar, a basket into the hands of the matryoshka.
Step 3
Start coloring the picture. Paint over large areas of the same color first. Start with the toy shawl. Use watercolors, you can mix them with gold or bronze gouache for a shine. Next, completely cover the sundress and shirt sleeves with paint, leave to dry.
Step 4
Draw the face of the matryoshka. This is the most delicate part of the job, so be careful and collected. First, apply the pink-beige color all over the face, then highlight the cheeks. Use light paint to depict strands of hair that have come out from under the scarf. Use the # 0 squirrel brush to paint the eyes, nostrils and lips, don't forget the eyebrows and eyelashes. Draw the hands carefully. When the eyes are dry, liven up the toy's eyes with light highlights in the pupils.
Step 5
Decorate the doll's outfit with ornaments, patterns and flowers. Draw an ornate pattern around the edge of the scarf, on the hem of the sundress. You can apply a gouache drawing right away, but if you wish, you can first sketch it with a pencil over a layer of watercolor paint. You can use a gel pen for decoration. Leave the toy to dry overnight.
Step 6
Cover the matryoshka with diluted wood varnish. Apply three to four coats.
