A cute gift basket will create a joyful mood and delight the owner. It is very easy and simple to make an original basket, and the consumption of materials is quite insignificant. Having shown imagination, on the basis of one pattern, you can design creative products in two different options.
It is necessary
- - cardboard (A4 format);
- - pencil pen;
- - glue, glue stick;
- For registration:
- - satin ribbon;
- - scrap flowers, buttons, beads, rhinestones;
Instructions
Step 1
Make a basket pattern. Take cardboard (A4 format) and place it horizontally on the table. Draw a sheet of cardboard as follows: measure from top to bottom 3 times 6 cm each. Carefully cut the remaining narrow strip at the bottom - this will be the handle of the future basket.
Step 2
Then, in the upper and lower rectangles, set aside along a ruler from left to right 4 times 2 cm each. Draw vertical lines so that they pass along the upper and lower rectangles, and the middle strip remains empty. Measure 10 cm from the extreme vertical line to the right and draw another vertical line. And from this vertical again measure 4 times 2 cm each.
Step 3
Now you should focus on the small 10 cm long rectangles that are in the middle of the top and bottom stripes. In the top small rectangle, mark the middle of the side length (10: 2 = 5 cm) and mark a dot. From this point, using a ruler, draw opposite diagonal lines, connecting with the points of intersection of the nearest horizontal with two centimeter vertical lines.
Step 4
You should get an isosceles triangle. In the lower rectangle, do a similar procedure, marking the middle of the lower side, draw a similar isosceles triangle (inverted). The areas marked in blue on the diagram must be cut with scissors and removed.
Step 5
Thus, you get a basket blank. Use a ruler to work the horizontal lines (fold) with a sharp object (knitting needle, crochet hook), and cut two-centimeter verticals (4 on each side) to the fold line.
Step 6
Assemble the basket: lift the isosceles triangles up, roll the strips closest to it inward and glue them along the fold line. Place the following strips one after another and secure with glue.
Decorate the remaining strip-handle with a satin ribbon and glue to the basket. The inner sides of the basket can be masked with colored triangles. Decorate the gift basket as you wish: scrap flowers, buttons, beads, ribbons, rhinestones.
Step 7
In the second version of the gift basket, the layout is made similar to the first, with only some changes: from top to bottom, set aside 3 times 6 cm each. From left to right, measure 5 times 1 - 1, 5 cm, then make intervals of 5-8 cm, and again - 5 times 1 - 1, 5 cm. Cut out isosceles triangles, as in the previous version.
Step 8
Collect the basket. In this case, attach the nearest strips from the outside, but start gluing not along the fold line, but closer to the top of the triangle. Decorate the junction of the strips with flowers or bows. Attach the handle to the basket. Decorate the basket as intended.
