Winter is a very wonderful time of the year. And for drawing, you can find a huge number of wonderful plots. For the image of the winter picture, of course, we need snow. Better yet, whole snowdrifts. It is very easy to draw them, but it is difficult to paint them. This will take all your skill in mixing colors. If you prefer pencils, please, but then you will have to resort to using an eraser for a smooth transition of colors.

a landscape sheet of paper, or better A3 format (like two landscape ones). For painting, either pencils or paints
Instructions
Step 1
First, sketch out with a pencil. You can not draw the details much. Draw a curved line like a rainbow. You can portray several. Then it's better in front of each other.
Step 2
Drifts are drawn using shadows. First, paint them with white paint (preferably gouache). Then, on the palette, mix 3 colors: blue, white and black. You should get a light blue-gray color.
Step 3
Use this color to paint the shadow of the drifts at the bottom. Better to take a piece of cotton wool or a bandage. Now, as you climb to the tops of the snowdrifts, lighten the color. At the top, it will be almost white. The main thing is to remember that the snow is not painted over with an even white color.
Step 4
Now take a brush and draw short lines with dark paint. If a snowdrift is drawn at night, it should be borne in mind that colors are lost in the dark. So add more gray.
Step 5
To make the snow more voluminous, take a semi-dry brush and, having typed in white paint well, draw along the contours of the snowdrifts. Paint the rest in the same way. The foot of the snowdrifts should be slightly extended, this place should be heavily shaded. The transitions between the snowdrifts should be done very smoothly.
