If the beads are torn or some of the parts on them are cracked or wiped off, you can give them a new life by simply going through. If you wish, you can add the decoration with beads or other beads.
It is necessary
- - old beads;
- - beads or beads to replace worn items;
- - nylon thread or fishing line;
- - a needle with a thin eye;
- - lighter;
- - camera.
Instructions
Step 1
Place the beads to be sorted out on a flat surface. Take a picture of them, this will allow you to restore the drawing in further work. If the camera is not at hand, draw a schematic diagram of the assembly procedure.
Step 2
Place the item in a high-rimmed plate. Carefully cut the thread on which the beads are strung. Remove all parts, be careful not to roll away.
Step 3
Choose a sturdy nylon thread or line. If you will be stringing beads with a thread, you will need a fine eye needle.
Step 4
Cut off a piece of thread or fishing line, it should exceed the full length of the finished product by 15-20 cm, so it will be more convenient to process and hide the ends. If the size of the hole of the beads allows, it is better to do the work with the thread in two folds.
Step 5
Attach one piece of the bead clasp to the end of the string or line. If you are using bi-ply thread, lock the fastener in the middle. Insert both ends of the thread into the needle; if using a fishing line, the needle is not needed. If your beads have a twist-on clasp, tie a tight knot so that it does not slip into the hole, thread the end (or both) inside. If the clasp is in the form of a clasp, just tie it. The ends can be singed or hidden in the holes of the beads.
Step 6
Start stringing the beads in the order in which they appear in the photo or diagram.
Step 7
Replace worn beads with new ones. Instead of chipped or cracked parts, use similar textures and sizes.
Step 8
If there are too many damaged beads, and there are no substitutes, you can create a new accessory by placing one bead of the appropriate color between the existing parts. This will lengthen the beads.
Step 9
Pull up the line or thread when all the beads have been strung. Try them on, see if the length suits you.
Step 10
Tie the second part of the clasp into a knot at the end. Hide the ends in the holes of the beads. If the thread lends itself to melting, burn the ends and "glue".
