Polina Yanovna Iodis was born on December 12, 1978 in Moscow. According to her father, the then-future star of the Lithuanian, which explains the origin of her exotic surname.
After graduating from high school, Polina decides to enter the Faculty of Law, but she does not have to work in her specialty - in 1995 she turns out to be a soloist in the "Brilliant" group.

Polina Iodis is just in the first line-up of a popular youth group, along with Olga Orlova and Varvara Koroleva. Later, in 1996, she performs with Zhanna Friske and Irina Lukyanova - Koroleva leaves the band.
Success for young singers comes immediately after the start of performances. And a truly brilliant life begins, which many girls of our and not only country can envy. However, Polina is not like that - she soon gets tired of wandering around the country. Subsequently, the girl repeatedly recalls in an interview the case when she was not allowed to ski from the mountains - the organizers were afraid that the girl would fall and break something for herself.
For the sake of a career as a singer, Polina leaves the law institute, never graduating. Iodis stayed in the "Shiny" for several years - until 1998. With the participation of the young singer, the collective releases several clips and albums, which later became cult.
However, for Polina, according to her, this was not her main job - she perceived this occupation as a hobby, always striving for freedom, while traveling around life could not provide it. Iodis is philosophical about making money and strengthening his material base - the main thing for a girl is self-satisfaction and engaging in her favorite sport.
Polina Iodis is going to closely pursue a solo career, but this does not come to her immediately, but only in 2004. Until that time, the star of the girl's pop group graduated from the Institute of the Liberal Arts and applied to architects.
