Step 2
Next, unfold the stirrup with your right hand and insert your left foot into it, after which, with the same hand, grab the back bow of the saddle. Push off the ground with your right foot and jerk up onto the stirrups. It is important not to push the horse to the side with the toes of the foot, this can scare it or provoke it to move.
Step 3
It is impossible to linger in this position, the horse can get nervous and rush forward. Therefore, they immediately transfer the leg over the horse's croup and sit in the saddle, squeezing the sides of the animal with their legs. Again, you should try not to hurt the croup itself, so as not to cause an unpredictable reaction.
Step 4
While riding the horse, it is held by the reins, and the right leg is quickly inserted into the stirrup. If it is not possible to catch it with the toe of the foot, then you need to bend over and help with your hand. Move your feet so that they rest against the stirrups with their wide part, after which you can begin to move.
