Step 1
Traditionally, first you need to create the very image with which we will play. To create an image from the game, you will need one of these programs: Ahead Nero, Alcohol 120% and Daemon Tools. Each is good and comfortable in its own way. According to the author, the most profitable option is to combine the two programs. It is best to create an image in Alcohol 120%, and it is better to mount it in the Daemon Tools program.
I will explain my choice by the following factors: recently, games on discs have the strongest protection. The program from the Alcohol Soft company copes well with this protection. And I mount it on Daemon Tools only because of its ease of use and small size in memory.
Therefore, we launch Alcohol. The main program window opens. Here we press the "Imaging" button. In the window that opens, select the drive from which the disk copy will be made, you can also set the speed (the lower the better). Put a tick in front of the item "Measurement of positioned data". It is not recommended to check the "Skipping reading errors" item.
After that, another window appears, in which we select the location of the future image, i.e. the place on the disk where it will lie with us. We press "Start" and wait for the completion of the image creation.
Step 2
After creating the image, it becomes possible to download it through the Daemon Tools, although Alcohol is also fine.
In the main Alcohol window, right-click on the created image and select the item in the drop-down menu "Mount to device". If there is no such item, then you need to go to the settings. In the "Virtual disk" section, select 1, 2, 3 or more disks from the drop-down list, depending on your needs.
In Daemon Tools, the same actions can be done faster. The program is always in the tray, next to the clock. Right-click on the program icon, select the item "Virtual drives" - "Drive name" - "Mount image" from the menu.
