Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl

The first part of the series of games is called "Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl", it was released in 2007. It contains the adventures of the game's antagonist character named Bullseye, who was sent to kill another character - Strelka. In the process of searching for abandoned laboratories, factories and military bases, the player will have to find out that the mysterious Shooter who is being hunted is himself.

The result of the game was a breakthrough to the Sarcophagus in Pripyat, where the mysterious Monolith - the Executor of desires - rests. Depending on the actions and behavior of the player, 7 different endings of the game await him, of which only 2 are true and do not lead to his death.

Stalker: Clear Sky

The second part of "Stalker" - "Clear Sky", was released in 2008. This part of the game tells about the events that preceded the events described in "Shadow of Chernobyl". Here the player acts on behalf of a mercenary named Scar, who receives a task from the stalker clan "Clear Sky" to kill the Shooter, whose actions threaten to cause a terrible catastrophe throughout the Exclusion Zone.

Throughout the game, this stalker is pursued, which ends with a battle at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, at the end of which the Shooter is wounded by the Scar and falls into the hands of the stalker clan "Monolith", guarding the legendary artifact.

Of all the released games in the Stalker series, Clear Sky is the only one where there is one ending that is not influenced by any actions of the hero.

S. T. A. L. K. E. R.: Call of Pripyat

The third part of this series of games was released in 2009. The antagonist of the game is Major Degtyarev from the SBU, who is investigating the death of military helicopters. Throughout the game, he will have to establish the cause of the failure of the electronics on these machines and save the surviving group of military men holding the defense in one of the districts of Pripyat.

In this part of the game, the dependence of the endings on the actions of the main character reappears. His actions affect not only the end of the game for him personally, but also the fate of other characters and what events will take place in the Exclusion Zone after the player leaves it.

Stalker 2

Stalker 2 was supposed to be the final installment in this series of games. However, at the moment the project is "frozen" and all the efforts of the developers are thrown into the game "Survarium".

According to the developers, it is possible to resume work on this part of the game when their current game project "Survarium" is completed.

Stalker: Lost Alpha

According to the developers, as the official continuation of the Stalker series of games, a mod is being prepared, which will be called "Lost Alpha". At the same time, a completely different team is engaged in the creation of this mod than the one that developed the original "Stalker". This game will be a sequel to "Shadows of Chernobyl" with a completely new main and additional storyline.

Players will find several new monsters there, many old locations from previous games and a couple of new ones. Among other things, the modification will add new possibilities for interacting with the environment, characters and objects.
