These can be animals, creatures that are neutral towards the gamer, or hostile monsters that he needs to kill - otherwise they will threaten the life of his character. However, sometimes situations arise when it will be necessary to destroy all the mobs present in the game at a particular moment.

Step 1
If various mobs have begun to spawn too intensively in your game world, because of which the gameplay has become a real punishment, think about what exactly could provoke such a phenomenon, and based on its reason, just think over the order of further actions. For example, if you overdo it with the plane of space, reconfigure the game a little. When the world is too flat, this in itself provokes the appearance of various creatures in considerable numbers. Therefore, change its settings accordingly, and "extra" mobs will stop appearing.
Step 2
Also use another way to get rid of spawned in an excessive number of creatures - switch to the peaceful complexity of the gameplay. Then many of them will disappear by themselves. After waiting for a while, return the game to the same difficulty level that you were in it earlier. However, remember that such a path will be a salvation exclusively from a surplus of monsters. When there is multiple spawning of pets, none of the aforementioned switches will be an obstacle to the continuation of such an unfavorable phenomenon for you.
Step 3
When you play on a server where the WorldGuard plugin is installed, lock a specific area. This is done by highlighting the two extreme points of a given region with a wooden ax and assigning a name to it via the / region claim command (then the name of the owner of such a piece of play space follows through a space). Later, when the territory is already sealed, set certain rules on it - including in relation to various mobs. The / rg flag command will especially help you, followed by the name of the region and spawnmob deny separated by spaces. This will prevent the appearance of various creatures only in the seized region - the rest of the ban will not apply.
Step 4
On certain servers (for example, the very popular Bukkit), use the WorldEdit plugin, which allows you to make certain transformations in the game world. The / butcher option there will help destroy all entities of any kind. For example, if you enter such a command without any additional characters, monsters will die. The addition in the form -p will also kill all the pets of this or that owner, -a - animals, -g - golems, n - the inhabitants of the NPC village, and l- will also summon lightning on them.

Install on the server (or, if you are not an administrator, ask authorized people to do this) a special plugin - Kill all mobs. It was created specifically for the destruction of various types of creatures in situations where their manual elimination will actually be difficult, but there is a need for it. By entering the command / kamh, you will kill hostile mobs on this virtual playground in an instant, and / kama will only extend such actions to pets. You will eliminate everyone, including the villagers, with the / kam command.
