During gameplay in Minecraft, the player is constantly surrounded by any creatures. These can be tame animals, neutral mobs, or hostile, attacking the gamer and trying to take his life. However, sometimes in this regard, there is a real "overpopulation", and the player is seriously thinking about how to eliminate hordes of various creatures from the "minecraft" spaces.

Instructions

Step 1

When you decide that the gameplay has turned into sheer torment due to the crowd of various mobs, do not rush to panic. First, think about what exactly could provoke such a massive spawn of all kinds of creatures (especially hostile ones). Perhaps you did not quite correct settings, and you have generated a super flat world. Its reliefs just contribute to the excessive appearance of many different types of mobs. Correct this by changing the appropriate parameters.

Step 2

If you are solely concerned about the surplus of monsters in the game space, eliminate it by changing just one setting in the game menu. Switch the difficulty level to peaceful (Peaceful), and evil entities will disappear from all parts of the map in literally an instant and will not spawn again. This will only continue until you switch back to a more difficult version of the game.

Step 3

When it happens on the server, and you are endowed with administrator rights on it, temporarily change some parameters of its functioning. Go to the server.properties file. Notice the three lines in it - spawn-npcs, spawn-monsters and spawn-animals. The first refers to the appearance of villagers in the game spaces, the second refers to the spawning of monsters, and the third refers to animals. Assign specific values to these parameters. If you want to disable any of them, put false after "equals", no - leave true.

Step 4

Having installed WorldEdit on your game resource, you will be able to "reshape" the map space in a certain way. Including you will have the right to destroy certain mobs throughout the territory, or only some of their varieties by entering a single command. So, in order to remove any entities from the game (of course, except for the players), write in the console / butcher. When you want to destroy them with a lightning strike, add -l to the above command, to remove pets -p, any beasts -a, golems -g, NPC residents -n /. The phrase / remove acts in the same way, followed by the English name of the entity to be destroyed.

Step 5

If the WorldGuard plugin is installed on the game server, try using it to set special flags - including prohibiting spawning of mobs. First, lock the region and set similar markers in it. To prohibit the appearance of any mobs, enter a special command. It sounds like this: / rg flag, followed by the name of the site and spawnmob deny. By the way, this command does not apply to the presence of different creatures on the map as a whole. It will operate only in the region where it is installed.
