Cozy star-shaped pillow will be a real decoration of any room. Sew it yourself!
A pillow-thought of an original shape can become a real decoration of the living room and set you and your child into fabulous dreams in the bedroom. Well, if you decorate it with tassels or pompoms (well, or with embroidery, applique), then the design of your pillow will definitely be unique!
To sew an asterisk pillow, you will need a fabric (chintz, satin, linen, satin, wool are suitable - any fabric that is pleasant to the touch and dense enough so that the padding does not come out of it), padding (for example, holofiber from an existing pillow), threads, any materials for finishing at will.
1. If you are an inexperienced seamstress, make a paper pattern as shown below. Increase or decrease the size of the pattern proportionally as needed.
2. Cut out two identical pieces from the fabric. Do not forget the seam allowances (about 1 to 2 cm depending on how much the fabric is peeled off).
3. Fold the parts right-side in and sew them together, leaving a small area unstitched.
4. Stuff in pillow and blindstitch neatly sew on the unsewn edge.
Please note: if you want to decorate your pillow with embroidery or applique, you must do this before you sew the pillow details.
